Katherine Ann Alati, age 79 of Rochester Hills, MI died October 26, 2021. An avid golfer and bridge player with a keen sense of strategy matched by her sharp mind. She was an active member of Great Oaks Country Club in Rochester with her husband Bob. Kathy grew up in Hamtramck, MI with the Ukrainian heritage of her parents, Stephen and Jean (nee Cherney) Kulczycki. After attending Catholic Central High School in Detroit she graduated from Eastern Michigan University. Kathy was a very dedicated Speech therapist working in Catholic and Public Schools throughout Hamtramck, MI. Later in her life, she was a strong supporter of the Assistance League of Southeastern Michigan.
Kathy is survived by her husband Bob, she is the mother of Beth Silver of West Bloomfield and Sue (Dr. Glenn) Minster of West Bloomfield Township, MI. Kathy is survived by four grandchildren Marissa, Michael, Ethan and Jacob. She is also survived by her brother Richard Kulczycki of Scottsdale, AZ.
Memorial Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Wednesday November 3, 2021 11:00 am at St. Andrew Catholic Church 1400 Inglewood, Rochester, MI followed by a reception at Great Oaks Country Club 777 Great Oaks Blvd. Rochester, MI 48307.
