Katherine "Katie" Galvan

Katherine “Katie” Rita Galvan, age 27, of Rochester Hills Michigan, passed away on Monday August 6, 2018.

Beloved daughter of Rita Galvan; loving sister of Matthew Galvan; and dear granddaughter of Stella Galvan, Katie was predeceased (2016) by her father Michael Galvan whom she missed dearly, grandfather Mike Galvan, and grandparents Norman and Elizabeth MacDonald. She will be cherished by many loving uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Katie was born the daughter of Michael and Rita Galvan in Southfield, Michigan on October 12th, 1990. She graduated from Ferndale High School and attended Oakland Community College. She worked on the custodial team at Woodside Bible Church where she was a member.

Katie was very close to her father, mother, and brother. Their family shared a deep love for music, nature, animals, and loved spending time near the peace and tranquility that nature's bodies of water bring.

Her compassionate and encouraging spirit always motivated her to serve and care for the broken and hurting people that God brought along her path.

Katie’s family will welcome all to a visitation on Thursday August 16th, 2018 from 12:30 until the time of funeral service at 2:00pm, with a luncheon to follow from 3:00-4:00pm, at Woodside Bible Church located at 6600 Rochester Road in Troy, Michigan.

Katie,
You were such a beautiful and kind spirited young lady. I will forever remember your bright smile and the little young girl innocence you had. You had such an AMAZING strength and courage through so much. I will cherish the laughter and hugs we shared on many occasions. You will be greatly missed by so many. God Bless your family and may your spirit be finally at peace.
