My sweet sweet auntie. I am going to miss you dearly. You will always be in my heart and on my mind. We always shared funny jokes when talked over the phone. I still remember you coming over to see me at boarding school in Ashrafiya in Beirut Lebanon when I was a kid and take me out to spend the weekend with you and Taita and Jido. I love you. Please say hi to everyone especially my mom.

Dearest Khalti Lauretta - you are finally at peace! Despite being a single mum in a strange land, you managed to survive and thrive - bringing up a wonderful, caring and gentle family man - your son, Andre. I will always remember your love and strong faith, no matter the challenges. I shall miss our phone chats, your easy laughter, your feistiness and independent spirit. As you’ve told me always: I Promise never to leave my handbag on the floor so that I don’t lose my money! God Bless and Rest In Peace Lauretta - you’re in loving company with my mom and dad, and Téta and Jiddo
