Leona "Linda" Lewis

LEWIS, Leona (Linda), of West Bloomfield and Rochester Hills, MI, passed away on October 6, 2018, at the age of 90. She was born in Nelson, KY. Linda is survived by her children, Shelley (John) Sweier, Cindy (Frank) Basler, and Chuck (Linda) Lewis; her beloved grandchildren, Amy (Jeff) Olind, Brittany (Sean) Von Tersch, Justin Basler, and Adam Lewis; her precious great grandchildren, Juliet Leona Olind, John Charles Olind, and Wayne Michael Von Tersch; and her brothers, Harold Ingram, Glen Ingram, Michael Ingram, and Dennis Ingram. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Charles Lewis; and her siblings, Leonard Ingram, Gerald Ingram, Charles Ray Ingram, Virginia Bratcher, and Brenda Roach. To her family she was a loving Mom, Grams, Gi-Gi, Sister, and Aunt. She loved her Lord, Red Wings hockey, scrapbooking, and spent many hours on her laptop posting and playing Words with Friends. She will be greatly missed by her family and life-long special friends. A private burial was held at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East in Clinton Township, MI. A Memorial Service in her honor will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at Woodside Bible Church-Warren Campus, 27300 Hoover Rd., Warren, MI 48093. In lieu of flowers, Contributions would be appreciated, instead to Woodside Bible Church, C/O Melanie McIlrath, 6600 Rochester Rd., Troy, MI 48085. Please note in Memory of Leona Lewis.
