Lester I. Miller

MILLER, Lester I., age 96, of Rochester Hills, February 9, 2013. A graduate of Kansas State University, he was employed by Dupont Corp. as a chemical engineer until his retirement in 1986 after 46 years of loyal service. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Troy, the Troy Community Chorus, the Flint Male Chorus and was a mentor in the Big Brother organization as well as a golfer. Beloved husband of Lois C. Miller, whom he married April 3, 1945. Dear father of Linda Eklund and Janet (Paul) Wintermantle. Proud grandfather of Joel, Karl, Alicia, Emily, and Marissa and great-grandfather of Mia and Alexander. Funeral Service 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at PIXLEY FUNERAL HOME, 322 W. University Drive in downtown Rochester. His family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. Wednesday until the time of Services. Interment will follow at VanHoosen Jones-Stoney Creek Cemetery.
