Loretta J. Shelton, age 83, of Rochester, passed away November 8, 2018. She was born in Rochester on September 17, 1935. Loretta graduated from Rochester High School and went on to attend OCC. She was married to Robert V. Shelton in July of 1958. Loretta worked as a Central Data Processor for MESC and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. She is survived by her children, Roxane Shelton and Robert William (Stacey) Shelton; her grandchildren, Michael Robert Macleod, Christine Cruce, Matthew Paul Macleod, Ashley Jean Mayhew, Rachael Renee Kindsvater, Robert James Hadley Shelton, and David Robert Shelton; and her 6 great grandchildren. The family will receive guests on Sunday, November 11, 2018, from 3-8 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, MI. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 11 AM, with gathering beginning at 10 AM until time of service, at Pixley Funeral Home with Rev. Marc Schwichtenberg officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Avon Cemetery.
