Lynn Marie Hinch, age 54, of Oakland Twp., Michigan, passed away November 18, 2017. She was born in San Diego, California on April 2, 1963. Lynn graduated from the University of Michigan Dearborn. She was an English Teacher at Brother Rice High School and taught Creative Writing and British Literature. Lynn was married to David J. Hinch on February 23, 1985. She is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Christine Elgart. Lynn is survived by her husband David J. Hinch; her daughter Erica Lynn (Nicholas) Cheok and stepson Brandon Hinch; her granddaughter Maya Cheok; and her brother David Elgart. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 2-8 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, Michigan. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 11 AM with Visitation beginning at 10 AM at Pixley Funeral Home.
