GULA, Margaret Eugenia, age 93, of Rochester Hills, passed away April 7, 2016. She was born July 26, 1922 in Ilasco, Missouri. Margaret graduated from Hannibal High School in Missouri and received a diploma from Detroit Business College. She was married to Joseph Gula on September 10, 1949 at St. Cyril & Methodius in Detroit. Margaret had a career as an executive secretary at GM She was a long time officer of the Parish Council at St. Martin De Porres in Warren, MI and had a passion for travel, bowling, pinochle, and bingo. She is survived by her daughter, Judith Gula Alward (wife of the late Ed Alward); son, Joseph Patrick Gula; son, Mark Edward (Kristin) Gula; grandchildren, Jessica Lyn, Alec Joseph, Katharine Margaret; preceded in death by her brothers Stephen and Daniel. A funeral will be held Saturday, May 21st 12 Noon at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr. in downtown Rochester with a visitation from 10 am until time of service.
