Marina was born twelfth of thirteen children in Amman, Jordan on November 17, 1965. She moved with her family to the United States at the age of 6, settling first in Detroit, Michigan. Marina lived in San Diego, California for many years before returning to live in Rochester where she raised her family.
Marina loved helping others and was generous with her time and talents. She was stern in her morals, good hearted, pure, religious, loving and nurturing.
Marina is survived by her mother Emily Abujoudeh and her daughters Emily Yalda and Angel Herbert.
Marina’s family invites everyone to a funeral mass to be held on Monday December 27, 2021 at 10 a.m. at St. George Chaldean Catholic Church, located at 45700 Dequindre Road in Shelby Township, Michigan. Burial will follow at Guardian Angel Cemetery.
