She was born at Mount Carmel Hospital in Detroit, Michigan on June 28, 1955. Mary Lynn graduated from Shrine High School and received an Associate's Degree from Flagler College. She was married to Richard A Novak Jr. in February of 1981.
Mary Lynn had a career in the medical field and had a passion for art and design.
She is survived by her children Richard (Sandra), Jonathan, Christopher (Antoinette), Tommy, and Peter Novak; grandchildren Jack, Gunnar, Piper, and Lucas; and Siblings Michael Fell, Suzanne (Michael) Battersby, and Tim (Patricia) Fell.
A visitation for Mary Lynn will be held on Thursday April 20, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Pixley Funeral Home in Rochester, Michigan. A funeral mass will be on Friday April 21, 2023 with instate beginning at 11:30 AM and mass to begin at 12:00 PM at the National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica in Royal Oak, Michigan. The mass will be live-streamed at shrinechurch.com.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mary Lynn's honor to the Wilson Cancer Resource Center.
