So many memories over 50 years. We had great fun together and her phone call at Christmas was wonderful.
Thank you Stephanie for contacting me -what a shock. I wish you all well and will miss Mary Mary (that is what my family called her). Bless the family and I send my sympathy.

I'm so sad to hear of Mary's passing. We shared a childhood on Harding Rd where we often played together. Later on at one time her cousin, Craig Craven-was my boyfriend. I remember Werth's lived in two houses on Harding, one at a time, first on the south side and then near the hill on the north side. Her Dad was the Chief of Police when we were young. My heart aches for Stephanie & Robin who I remember slightly, and also for Robert who I do not remember-maybe he is the youngest. I married in 1960 and moved from my parents home there. Fond memories of long ago. Please accept my sympathy. Gail "Hood" Bothwell

I first met Mary when she bought the property next door in the 80's & refurbished the house and lived in ever since. We had common ground as Navy veterans, I was on active duty at Selfridge ANGB at the time. She was such good a neighbor so as to be extremely rare. Mary was and still is loved very dearly by one and all in the neighborhood and will be deeply missed.
