

MaryAnn was born the daughter of Harlan and Helen (Karner) Hobart in Cass City, Michigan on November 24, 1941. MaryAnn graduated from Cass City High School, class of 1959. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and her master’s degree from Oakland University. MaryAnn married Alan Reidinger on April 7, 1981. MaryAnn served as a counselor at Rochester Adams High School for Many years.
MaryAnn was active in the Rochester Rotary and served as a chairwoman of the Rochester Community Foundation. MaryAnn was recognized for her commitment to community service by the Esteemed Women of Michigan. She was also a member St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. She enjoyed golfing, traveling, and knitting scarfs.
MaryAnn was predeceased by her husband Alan Reidinger. She is survived by her children Tracy Smith (Gary), Philip Bogard (Nicole), Pam Parrott, Michelle Weed, Nancy Breton (Gary), and Mark Reidinger (deceased); grandchildren Erin Fackler, Julia Cramer, Peyton Bogard, Paige Bogard, Chris Weed, Caroline Arnold, Charlie Parrott, Jimmy Parrott; and siblings Benson Hobart (deceased) and Sally Ellis.
MaryAnn’s family will welcome everyone to a visitation on Saturday October 8th, 2022 from 1p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 322 West University Drive in downtown Rochester, Michigan.
Memorial Contributions may be made in MaryAnn’s honor to the Rochester Community Foundation. Envelops will be available at Pixley Funeral Home.
