Melvin was the proud founder of Suburban Travel, which he established in 1966 and ran with dedication until his retirement in 1991. His entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to the community were central to his life's work, and Suburban Travel became a trusted name for many throughout the area.
He is survived by his daughter, Debbie (George) Blaske; son, Dean (Erika) Markwardt; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
