OBITUARY

Michael Thomas Cloutier

January 24, 1949April 1, 2021

Cloutier, Michael Thomas age 72 of Waterford went home to be with the Lord on April 27, 2021.

Mike is survived by his daughter, Marianne Searcy of Houston, Texas, and brother Gordy (Judy) Cloutier. Brother of the late Richard Cloutier and the late Delores (James) Pass. He also left behind grandchildren Ashley (Jose) Morales, Matthew Searcy and great grandchildren Jose, Aiden, Caleb, Gabby, Braylin, Julian, and Lily. Niece, Wendy Pass and nephews, Steve (Susan) Pass, Brian Pass and David (Teresa) Pass as well as nephews Aaron (Katina) Cloutier, Matthew (Ericka) Cloutier and Joel (Patricia) Cloutier.

Mike served in the United States Marine Corps and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an avid sports fan, especially baseball. He had a photographic memory where he could recite sports statistics and recall play-by-play details of the action. Mike was very inquisitive on just about any topic and frequently asked the question why? If he did not get a satisfactory answer, he would be sure to research and report back his findings. Mike was a caring person, often asking how others were doing and remembering details about them that many people would have missed.

A graveside memorial service at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI will be held on a later date. May his memory be eternal.

I’m so sorry to hear about Mike’s passing. I just recently met him while he was moving. My son and I were helping him and he seemed a gentle soul. Prayers to Mike and his family. There is another angel in Heaven.
