Norma Powers Kapell

She was born in Lansing, Michigan on June 7th, 1932. Norma graduated from Northwestern High School in Detroit, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Detroit. She was married to Robert James LaDuke on November 19, 1955, and to Raymond Kapell on March 16, 1979. Norma worked as an elementary school teacher for Detroit public schools, and as a real estate agent and in retail in Birmingham, Michigan. She spent her retirement years in Asheville, North Carolina. She was an avid golfer and bridge player. She loved her many pets, friends, and family above all.

She is survived by her loving sister Nancy Choquette of Chalfont, Pennsylvania; her loving children David LaDuke (Patricia), Janice LaDuke and Peter LaDuke (Kay); her loving grandchildren Christopher LaDuke, Ian Brown, Jonny LaDuke and Anna LaDuke; her loving grandpets, Angel, Finn, Gracie Lu, Diesel and Wolfgang.
