Norma Rose Mullin

Norma Rose Mullin, 82, resident of Rochester, Michigan since 1963, passed away on February 25, 2016, suffering from complications of COPD. She was born on July 17, 1933 in Edon, Ohio. Norma graduated in 1951 from Montpelier High School as the Valedictorian. She was also the past President of Pi Beta Phi Sorority, Hillsdale College, where she received her BA in 1955 as class Salutatorian. She received her MA in Counseling from Oakland University in 1989, and she worked in mental health counseling in the Oakland County area for several years. Norma was a member of the Rochester Poet’s Society, OPC Fireside Poets, local writing groups, and past member of Poets Society of Michigan. She was the loving mother of Sarah Mullin and the late David Mullin. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2016 from 3-8pm at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr. Rochester, MI 48307. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 12pm at Faith Church, 160 W. Hamlin Rd. Rochester Hills, MI 48307. Visitation will begin at 11am.
