

She was born in Kingsville, Ontario, on September 26, 1922, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Herbert and Sarah (Sellick) Moore. She and Max R. Main were married on February 27, 1943, in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Throughout her adult life, Olive spent her time caring for her family as a homemaker. She was a valued member of the Lioness Club of Glennie, Michigan. In her free time, Olive enjoyed baking, playing card games, and spending time in her flower garden. However, most of all, Olive enjoyed spending time with her family and friends; especially her grandchildren! She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Milford (Anna Faye) Main, and Donald (Margaret) Main, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Olive was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Sarah; her husband of sixty-seven years, Max; her daughter Beverly Joseph; her son Bob Main; her daughter Kathy Smith; her son Roger Dale Main; and her son-in-law Vern Joseph.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, restrictions have been implemented that govern the number of people allowed inside public buildings. With the health and safety of their friends in mind, Olive’s family has decided to have a memorial service celebrating her life at a later date. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Future service details will be announced at a later date.
