Padmaja Devi Veerareddy, 86, of Oakland Township, passed away on Sunday October 8th, 2017. Padmaja was the loving mother of Bharath (Raveena) Reddy; cherished grandmother of Shilpa (James) and Nitya Reddy; caring relative of many Veerareddy and Moolamalla extended family members.
Padmaja was born the daughter of Purushotham and Padmamma Moolamalla on November 17, 1930 in Wanaparthy, India. She raised her family in India, moving to the United States in 1989. Padmaja was a devout Hindu and devotee of Sri Rama who saw God everywhere. She valued simplicity and lived a very spiritual life.
The family welcomed friends and extended family for a visitation and prayer service on Monday October 9th, 2017 from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Drive in downtown Rochester.
