

Patricia Jean (nee Allen) Burry Kay, of Rochester Hills, Michigan, passed away on December 23, 2020 at the age of 92 from natural causes. Born in Detroit, Michigan in 1928, Pat worked as an LPN, then received her registered nursing degree in 1978. She pursued life-long passions for music, art, theater, design and architecture. Pat was a devout Christian and an original founding member of St. David’s Episcopal Church in Southfield, and later became a Lay Eucharist Minister, visiting the sick at hospitals to give communion and comfort to those in need. In her free time, she enjoyed playing the piano and singing, especially as a member of Sweet Adeline’s SPEBSQSA. Pat also enjoyed camping and the outdoors with her family, taking several trips abroad to see the world.
Patricia is survived by her children Paul (Rita) Burry, Demas Jackson, and Livia (Hugh) Purcell; proud grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID, the funeral will be broadcasted via Zoom from St. David's Episcopal Church on Friday January 22 at 3:00pm (dial up information found on their website). In lieu of flowers, donations for Pat may be made to her church at http://stdavidssf.org/ .
