It's December 2019 and I'm just learning about Paul.  I'm so sorry.  We worked together at Federal Data from 1986-1992.  He was so smart and a wonderful friend.  I'll never forget 2 memories.  He bought tickets and took a group of us to the Neil Diamond concert and we have a great time.  I went to Nordstrom Tysons Corner with him to help shop for dresses for either his sister or his special niece (can't remember which).  He was very generous.  What an interesting day!  He was so much fun!  Many fond memories.  I know he is missed by many.  Carla Young  


I was saddened to hear of Paul's passing. He had such enthusiasm! He was also so friendly to me as new freshman at MSU more than 40 years ago. I am not surprised at how many lives he touched. I will remember a trip to Rochester and his teaching me to shoot a shotgun. I also remember his great love of friends and particularly his family.  Rest in Peace Paul. 

Very sad to hear of Paul's passing.  It was a privilege and pleasure working and spending time with him. When thinking of Paul, these are some of the words that came to mind - friendly, funny, kind, loyal, brilliant, generous, and teacher. We are all better for time spent with him. Paul was so instrumental to me early in my career.  He taught me so much - he was a brilliant man.  I have so many memories of working with him and the team at all hours of the day - and the infamous "all nighters".  In addition to being brilliant, he was funny, jovial, sassy, loud, witty, kind and compassionate.  Although it was over 25 years ago that we worked together, I have such great memories of Paul.  May God give His peace to his family and friends.

Paul could do it all...I most remember Paul for his ability and willingness to share his knowledge and experiences with anyone. His guidance and help pushed me into new areas while providing needed support. He was the constant mentor who has positively influenced all he encountered. Rest In Peace my friend.

As many have already stated, it was a pleasure to have known Paul either professionally or personally.  You were doubly blessed to know him in both because of his knowledge and personality.  I was lucky enough to have him as one my early mentors.  We crossed paths periodically after the Federal Data days and would have jumped at the opportunity to work with him again.  I know he will be missed by many because of the impact he made our lives.  Prayers and condolences to his family.

I remember Paul filling a room with his booming, jovial voice and helpful explanations.  He was wickedly smart with a keen sense of humor. I counted on him often when we worked together at BAE Systems. I did enjoy his stories and marveled at him being always on the go. He will be missed by many in our industry.

My husband and I met Paul at MSU. We were in a group of close friends in college, and Paul was among those in our wedding party 40 years ago. Even after college, we would get together: annually at a friend's home in Plymouth MA President's day weekend, and for special family celebrations. His enthusiasm for anything he talked about would light up the room. It is hard to image that he is no longer with us. We send our heartfelt condolences to his family.

I'm saddened to hear about Paul's passing. He was an unbelievably gregarious gentleman. I first met Paul when we worked together at BAE then again when he was at Salient. His passing leaves a void both professionally and personally with all that have had the honor and privileged of meeting him. His smile and laughter will be missed.

Paul loved talking about family; his heart-felt stories were often uplifting lessons. Good humor and gentle side tempered his tough as nails business approach. Paul had a unique way of touching lives, his compassion and talents made him a giant in tough environments. This world too will passrest in peace friend until we meet again.

Very sad to hear of Paul's passing.  I feel very fortunate to have been able to work with him at Federal Data.  He always made work and life interesting and fun!

Paul was a great friend, travel companion and fun to just hang out with.  His heart was full of true compassion and love.  I watched him so often put others needs ahead of his own.  He was a gifted in so many areas.  I too learned a great deal from him in our 30+ years of friendship.  I can not believe he is gone.  I am so deeply saddened by the loss of my friend.

Paul was a kind, funny and engaging colleague. He always had a smile to offer and a story to tell. With Paul, the friendship did not end when we no longer worked together, it just changed forms. His light was bright and true. I am better for having known him.

What a great friend he was!  We met 30 years ago.  He mentored me, coached me, laughed with me and sometimes laughed at me :>  We enjoyed our work time together and often chatted for hours outside of work.  He was a great story teller and a great listener; I'm so glad we kept in touch and I'll miss him terribly.  Tish

Paul added much laughter and joy to our lives. He was a loyal friend who shared our love of food, wine and travel. He will be missed at our Thanksgiving table. He will be missed. Period.

We met Paul our freshman year in college, and remained close friends ever since. We managed to see each other often through the years, and it was always a joy to be with him. May his memory serve as a blessing.

My life is better because Paul was in it. He mentored me, he helped me, he trusted me. He was my friend. While we're sad at Paul's passing, Heaven just got a lot more interesting! We love and miss you Paul.

Paul was my mentor at Federal Data Corporation 30 years ago- he taught me the business and had one of the most strategic brains I've ever had the pleasure to work with. We lost touch for a few years, but reconnected last year. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends- he will be missed as a colleague and a friend.

Paul was a good friend in college.  As a roommate he taught us the meaning of "bon vivant" long before we ever heard the phrase.  His larger than life personality enlivened every room he entered.  We will miss you, Paul.

Paul was a great mentor and friend.  My condolences to  his entire family, he loved you all dearly. I am thankful for the friendship we had and will forever treasure the stories and life lessons he shared with me. Paul will be missed by many.

Paul was my brother. I'm not sure my world will ever be quite the same. He was loved dearly and will be missed eternally.

To The Bander Family,  My prayers and condolences to Paul's family and friends.  Paul and I worked at a few companies together.  He will be missed especially by the young folks he loved mentoring and the seasoned folks who he was a source of information.   My thoughts are also with his father who turned 95 this week and brothers who also have heath issues. God never gives us more than we can handle.

Paul made a difference, both within companies and volunteer organizations, and within our lives. RIP Paul. We will miss you. Condolences to all who knew and will miss Paul. He was very much a part of our networks over the decades. P.S. Lyman Briggs is a college again.

 I had the pleasure of knowing Paul for over thirty years. He was a great mentor to me which directly effected  my ability to progress in my professional career. On a personal note my wife and I got to know him outside of work and he was a fun and knowledgable world traveler. He will be missed.

Our family will miss Paul a whole lot. His love of food, travel, games and fun will be missed.  I gained professionally under his leadership.  We've known Paul more than 40 years.  We would not have met without Paul's help.  He was a very loyal friend.
