Paul Samuel Taliercio

Paul Samuel Taliercio of Oxford, MI passed away surrounded by family on January 19, 2023 at the age of 90. Paul was born May, 2 1932 in Detroit, Michigan and is survived by his wife Gertrude Taliercio of 70 years. Also survived by his children; son Paul S. Taliercio II, son John (Vince) Taliercio, (Sandi Taliercio), daughters Rosemarie Taliercio (Rose), and Maria Taliercio (Kathy). Paul is preceded in death by his youngest son Anthony (Tony) Taliercio (Karen Taliercio). Paul also is survived by ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Paul is preceded in death by siblings, Lucille (Patricia) Detkowski (Taliercio), Loretta Trombley (Taliercio), James Taliercio, and survived by siblings, John Daniel Taliercio, (Lorraine), Roseanne Velthuysen (Taliercio) (Ray Velthuysen), and Gene Taliercio (Dawn Taliercio). Paul graduated from Rochester High School, Rochester MI. in 1951 after which he served a short time in the US NAVY then joined his brothers, in ownership and operation of Taliercio Brothers Wholesale Produce which served their community for over forty years. In his retirement years, Paul sold real estate for twelve years in Roscommon Michigan. His love of family and silly jokes will live in the hearts of all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 1:30 PM, with gathering to begin at 1 PM, at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr, Rochester, Michigan 48307. There will be refreshments following the service.
