Peter Roemer

Peter Roemer, age 88, of Metamora, passed away October 16, 2018. He was born in Witmarsum, Netherlands. Peter immigrated to the United States and became a proud citizen of the country he loved. He fulfilled his “American Dream.” Peter owned and operated a nursery and garden center in Lake Orion, Michigan with his wife Alberta, for over 52 years. He loved fishing, golfing, and Marco Island and of course his faith in the Lord. Peter is survived by his 6 children and their spouses, along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 10 AM, with gathering beginning at 9:30 AM until time of service, at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, MI.
