Rebecca Lynn Messer

Rebecca Lynn Morell Messer, born on January 23, 1977, in Lapeer, Michigan, went home to be with Jesus on September 29, 2026. She was the loving daughter of Terrence L. and Lucinda M. Morell and the loving sister of Terrence Jr. and Matthew F. Morell.

Preceded in death by her grandparents, Arnold and Lucille Morell, Roy J. and Phyllis J. Clayton, and Mary F. Baldwin; and uncles Arnold W. Morell and Phillip R. Clayton.

She married her true love, Shawn Messer, on August 9, 1999, and God blessed them with their son, Phillip S. Messer, on August 2, 2011.

She is survived by a whole host of friends and family that she loved and adored.

Beccy loved reading, crocheting, going on cruises, and was a huge history and true-crime buff. She loved Wonder Woman and the Beatles. Most importantly she followed and loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Visitation will be held at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 West University Drive, Rochester, MI 48307, US, on October 10, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 pm.
