BOYNTON, Richard D., age 91, died November 9, 2010. A 1937 graduate of Pontiac High School and received his Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Michigan. He was an industrial psychologist for General Motors and retired in 1984 after 33 years of service. He was a faithful member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir and formerly served in the same capacity at Calvary Methodist Church in Redford. He and his wife were foster parents for over 40 children. Beloved husband of the late Janet. Dear father of Martha (Charles) Tamaroglio, Daniel (Debra) Boynton and Dr. Virginia Boynton. Grandfather of Glenn, Kimberly, Allen, Caitlin, Scott, Matthew, Thomas and Nicholas. Brother-in-law of Mary Boynton. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Friday at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 620 Romeo Street in Rochester. Visitation Thursday 2-9 p.m. at PIXLEY FUNERAL HOME, 322 W. University Drive in Rochester.
