Rick was born on February 6, 1956 in Detroit the son of Richard and Marlene (Graybill) Locke. He and his wife Melanie, whom he married on October 29, 1983, were proud to call Rochester their home. Together, they own Picasso's Hair Studio, where they lovingly served their community for 39 years. Rick was an avid golfer, playing in the Rochester Businessman's league at Bald Mountain Golf Course for many years; as well as a top-tier bowler in Metro Detroit, having rolled a 298 game. These accomplishments were surpassed only by his great passion for people.
Rick was a loving, devoted husband and father, and dedicated his life to the joy of helping others; always with sharp wit and thoughtful wisdom.
He is survived by his wife Melanie, their two children Emily and Graham; as well as siblings, Judy (Tom), Renee, Myles (Barbie), and David (Becky) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and sister Francis Gibson.
Rick leaves behind many cousins, numerous friends and countless clients, all of whom loved him and were inspired by his endlessly generous spirit and infectious personality. He will be greatly missed.
A visitation for Rick will be held on Sunday November 13, 2022 from 1:00 to 7:00 PM and funeral service on Monday November 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Pixley Funeral Home in Rochester.
