Robert F Neubacher

Robert F. Neubacher, age 87, passed on April 9, 2016. Beloved husband of Marjorie Neubacher for 64 years. Loving father of four children; Roberta (Doug) Roberts, Deborah (Robert) Krieg, Mark (Barbara) Neubacher, Greta (James) Stuef. Cherished grandfather of ten grandchildren. Ryan and Patrick McKennon, William, Michael and David Krieg, Jon and Evan Neubacher, Sarah (nee Neubacher) Melton, Lydia and Rachel Stuef, four great-grandchildren, Alex and Ben McKennon, Raegan and Christopher McKennon. Brother Marietta Keating of Treasure Island, FL and the late Joseph.

Robert was born in Detroit. He attended St. Stephens Lutheran Church and grade school. After graduation at Western High Scholl he attended Valparaiso University in Indiana where he received a degree in business and accounting. Bob worked at Ford Motor Co. for 35 years. He retired from a position as manager of dealer accounts in sales operations, which required travel around the country. Bob retired and worked for Lutheran Social Services in Detroit with a group of retirees of various skills for five years. This retiree group was called "the over the hill gang."

Bob and Marj raised their children on Watkins Lake in Waterford, Michigan for 35 years. They also have resided in Inkster, Waterford, Rochester, Romeo and at the River House in Detroit part-time while Bob worked for Ford at the Renaissance Center. Bob and Marj recently moved to the Sanctuary of Bellbrook in Rochester Hills. They vacationed in Bliss, MI and for 20 years at Treasure Island, FL.

Bob has been a blessing to his family friends and to many others as an active church member. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations to the Lutheran Social Services of Michigan, 8131 E.
