My Condolences go out to the entire family of Robert "Bob" Sanders.  I will always remember Bob for his kind heart, his smile, and since of humor and will also thank him for hiring me in at the Corps of Engineers 30 years ago.  I am greatful to have met Mr. Robert "Bob" Sanders, rest on my friend.

Glad that I opertunity to have known Bob, We where on travel together one time , at boarding our return flight we were separated , and I boarded first,after I was seated I saw Bob going up the aisle holding a young child with the mother ahead of him..he helped the mother get seated ...he was a very kind and caring person

You were Corps and a gentleman,always helping H&H in expediting their river-flow projects.My thanks to Bob,and my deepest condolences to Louise and family.

Condolences go out to Louise and the entire Sanders family.  During our tenures with the USA Corp of Engineers, we worked together on many projects.  Bob was a professional, a leader and a team player.  I will forever remember him for his kind and caring ways.  RIP my friend.

I am saddened to hear that the angels came calling you (BOB). You where my first supervisor that I had in USA Corps of Engineers in 1986. - You where Kind, Helpful, Friendly, Funny, and Loveful Person I ever met. Thank you for that.. I will miss you. I did learn alot from you and Billmier all those year working with. Thank You! To the family, Bob's is OUTSTANDING BOSS will be miss.

Having had the pleasure of working with Robert's son Mike during the past couple of years I can say that Robert must have been an outstanding father.  We are thankful to know Robert through Mike.

Bob was the first USACE person I went on travel with, we ended up in Grand Haven and I wanted to make a career at the office in Grand Haven, I did and Bob was very supportive of me throughtout my career, he was a great mentor to me.

My Dad, role model, friend, teacher, and the best hunting companion a son could ever have. Loving grandfather to my children, nieces and nephew. I wish the younger ones and my grand-daughter could have grown up with you, like we remember living with you. Your a gentleman and truly wonderful person. You loved family and were always there for us when in need. You loved Louise, and Camp Chaos your Northern piece of heaven. A place where great memories were made, your stories were told, and legendary tales will remain shared by all. Your love, support, parenting, friendship, and times we shared will be missed. Dad, until were together again, you'll be loved and missed. Rob.

We have lost a "brother of the hunt and lover of the outdoors". We will miss his dry sense of humor and stories from the Army Corps days. We could always count on Bob for discussion about how how the dozer couldn't be used in Posen for this reason or that. Or how Rob took the dozer out of commission by knocking out 2 inch diameter trees. His engineering mind making him put that stone on the entry gate at Grand Lake to know if any intruder entered-knocking the stone out place. He was good man and we will miss him dearly.

Grandpa you always knew how to make me smile with your funny stories and your disappearing finger trick. I was so lucky to grow up with such an amazing grandfather who loved his family more than words could express. I wish I could have spent one last time with you at camp chaos since it has been forever since I was there. I love you and will always cherish the memories we had together. Love, your granddaughter.
