Robert “Bob” William Weidler, 89, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2022, in the care of his family. Born in 1932 to Ralph and Winifred (Eaton) Weidler, he met his “Bryde,” Irene (Munro), in 1949, and they were married for 55 years until she passed in 2008. Bob and Irene raised their family in Bay Shore, New York, and then moved to Beverly Hills, Florida, in 1994. Bob was living with his daughter, Virginia, and her husband, Andrew Craig, in Michigan. Also survived by his son, Ralph, and his wife, Gerti (Westphal), of Georgia; and his daughter, Nancy, and her husband, Jimmy Erale, of Long Island. Bob had 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Long Island National Cemetery on May 2, 2022 at 11 a.m.
