Roberta I. Foster of Rochester Hills, Michigan passed away on September 23, 2020. She was born in Beloit, Wisconsin on April 13, 1936. Roberta loved the Lord and his teaching at an early age. She was baptized and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Beloit along with her family. Roberta went on to graduate from Beloit Catholic High School. She married her high school sweetheart, Paul L. Foster on November 30, 1957. Roberta had a career as an administrative assistant in retail and for Oakland University’s Registration Office. She was a member of the Rochester Book Babes, Community Bible Study and Bible Study Fellowship. Roberta always had a passion for reading, friends and most importantly, her family. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Edwin Clarke, George Clarke, and Franklin Clarke. Roberta is survived by her husband, Paul L. Foster; her children, Delia A. (Kyle) Redwine of Rochester, MI and Rodney D. (Jeanine) Foster of Denver, CO; her grandchildren, Kyle Redwine, Dawn (Carrington) Redwine Goldsmith, Jordan C. Foster of Flagstaff, AZ and Jack D. Foster of Portland, OR; and her brother, David A. (Geraldine) Clarke. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private ceremony will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
