Rodger Lee Fuller

FULLER, Rodger Lee, age 56, of Pigeon, Michigan, formerly a life long resident of Rochester Hills, died in Rochester Hills on Friday, March 21, 2014, after a lengthy illness. He was born In Pontiac on September 21, 1957, graduated from Adams High School in 1975,and was employed by the Rochester Community Schools for 35 years, retiring in 2010. He was a life-time member of the Rochester Eagles, Aerie # 2634 and loved fishing, hunting, bowling and golf. He is survived by his beloved wife, Terry (nee Leslie) Fuller, whom he married October 2, 1982. Proud and loving Dad of Amanda Fuller and Ryan Fuller. Dear son of Melvin “Babe” and Shirley Fuller of Rochester Hills. Brother of Richard “Rick” (Denise) Fuller. Son-in-law of Ida and the late Norman Leslie. Brother-in-law of Michelle (Mike) Kesteloot. Rodger is also survived by his six nephews and nieces as well as two grand nieces. A Memorial Service will be held at PIXLEY FUNERAL HOME, 322 W. University Drive in downtown Rochester on Sunday, March 30, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. His family will greet family and friends at the funeral home that day from 1:00 p.m. until the 3:00 p.m. time of service. Memorial contributions in Rodger’s name may be directed to Beaumont Hospice and envelopes will be available at the funeral home. www.pixleyfuneral.com

Terry, I am sorry to hear of your loss. I will always remember Roger from the first time you guys fished with me. After we put one or two fish in the boat he asked me if we could release the rest of the fish we catch. We used to spend quite a few hours at the harbor talking fishing. I found a picture of the fish he did let us keep that day. May God bless you and your family.

Dear Terry, so very sorry for your loss. I spoke briefly to Roger after Tim's service and he seemed encouraged about his condition so I was very surprised when I received the news from Vicki. My sincere sympathy to you and your family. Ken Scott.

Terry.
I have been praying for Roger and your family for months.
We had some great times in Grindstone, and Roger and I had fun at Lake Simcoe over the years. He was truely a great friend, and I will think about him when fishing, expecially ice fishing. We caught lots of jumbo perch together.

So sorry for your loss, Roger was a great man who could light up a room with his smile and jokes. I have many fond memories of the family up north in Grindstone City fishing and hanging out along with bowling at Classic Lanes... He is missed.. RIP Roger. The Zatorski Family.

The last time I spoke with Roger I told him there are 2 things I know about Heaven with certainty. The fish are always biting. And the instant you get there Heaven will become an even nicer place.

Terry, Ryan, Amanda, Mel and Shirley; words cant express our sorrow for all of you. He was a good man and I will miss him terribly. His fight was valiant and inspiring.

It was my privilege to be his friend.
