Ronald Marvin Kroll

Ronald Marvin Kroll, age 92, of Clawson, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. Born in Milwaukee, Ronald graduated from Nathan Hale High School and attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Ronald had a prolific career as a musician and played all over the Greater Detroit area and Windsor. Music was not only his job, it was also his joy and passion. He loved listening and playing music during his downtime and was a member of the Detroit Local Musician's Union. He married his beloved wife Sonja "Sunny" Ostovich on May 3, 1958. They built their family together and were separated only by her passing on September 29, 2002.

Ronald is survived by his children David (Hong Dinh) Kroll, Bob (Laura) Kroll, Ron Kroll, and Steven (Mindy) Kroll; grandchildren Kristy, Lauren, Alex, and Lindsay; his two step-grandchildren Jennifer and Melissa; 8 great-grandchildren; and his sister Joann Heise.

Ronald was preceded in death by his wife Sonja; and brothers Gil Kroll and Gene Kroll.

A memorial visitation for Ronald will be held Friday, March 7, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, Michigan 48307, with a memorial service being held at 7:00 PM
