

Ronda Wilson was born on October 17, 1977, and passed away on May 23, 2026, at the age of 48. Born in Detroit, she made her home across Oakland County, spending three decades rooted in Rochester and Auburn Hills, places that became familiar chapters in her life. She was a proud graduate of Rochester High School, and in recent years resided in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
For more than 20 years, she served at The Palace of Auburn Hills as a security camera operator ensuring those who came for a good time remained safe and protected. She also spent 20 years at Hoops Sports and Spirits as a bartender, offering not just service, but the simple, human ease of conversation and the comfort of being known in a familiar place.
Her interests reflected a spirit that noticed beauty and sought it out. She loved golf and camping, enjoying the open air, shared time, and the calm rhythm of being outdoors. Through photography, she held onto moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed. With a self-assurances that everyone should try to emulate, she kept Halloween decorations up all year because she knew that it was more important that she enjoy her home then worry about being judged.
She is survived by her husband, Erik Ingersoll; her mother, Bernadette "Bunny" Wilson; and her furbabies, Durp, Baby, and Alia. She was preceded in death by her father, James Wilson.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, Michigan 48307, on May 30, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
