Sherman F. Dickson Jr.

DICKSON, Sherman F. Jr., age 94, of Oakland Township, passed away January 30, 2016 at his home. He was born September 14, 1921 St. Louis, MO. Sherman served his country honorably during WWII in the pacific theater. He has been a member of the I.B.E.W. Local 58 since his return from service. He worked as an Electrical Journeyman for most of his life. Sherman was also a Master Mariner with the US Power Squadron. Husband of Barbara Rosalik and the late Irene Dickson; father of Gloria Dickson, Sherman F. (Murelene) Dickson II, Laura (Dave) Rock, Paul (Dorian) Dickson and Steve Dickson; grandfather of Ben, Chris, Nathan, Stephanie, Thomas, Ryan, Reid, Taryn and Sam; Wonderful father-in-law and grandpa to Marty, Jean, Kendal and Shelby Rae Rosalik.

Memorial Gathering February 5, 2016 from 4 – 7 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W University Dr, in downtown Rochester. Memorial Service taking place at 7 p.m. immediately following gathering at the funeral home.
