He graduated from Waverly High School in 1978, and earned an Associate's degree from Lansing Community College. Steve was a Lear jet pilot for many years and was a flight instructor. Besides his love of family and flying, Steve enjoyed golf and walking the ocean beaches.
He is survived by his children Steven, Anthony, Peter, Sasha and Erin Marshall; grandchild Adin Marshall, mother Frances Marshall, a sister, Karen M. Marshall, niece Katie (Frank) Burlage Lenz, great-nephew Brandon Burlage; and dozens of relatives.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Marshall.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2016 at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 14115 E 14 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gift of Hope. Condolences may be shared online at www.pixleyfuneral.com.
