

Born in Dearborn, Michigan, Tom was the beloved son of Doris Lindsey and the late Thomas C. Lindsey Sr. Throughout his life, Tom was known for his witty, teasing sense of humor. He loved to joke, and bring laughter to those around him. His steady presence, dependable nature, and devotion to his family made him someone others could count on.
Family was at the center of Tom’s life. He deeply loved being a husband and father and took special pride in caring for those he loved. He shared a loving marriage with his high school sweetheart, Deborah, whom he married in 1985. Together they built a life filled with love, commitment, and cherished memories.
Tom was a thoughtful and reflective man who found peace in nature. He enjoyed walking through the woods, visiting the Great Lakes, and appreciating the beauty of the outdoors. He enjoyed a good book and playing chess. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Tom played baseball for many years and remained a fan throughout his life. He also enjoyed golf, cheering on the Detroit Lions, and faithfully supporting the University of Michigan.
Tom was also a cherished son-in-law to his mother-in-law, Phyllis Pendry and late father-in-law Roger Pendry, and held close relationships with his extended family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Deborah Lindsey; his son, Benjamin (Ashley) Lindsey; his mother, Doris Lindsey (the late Tom Sr.); his sisters, Sue (the late Tim) Morris, Carol (Jerry) Cichoski, and Cathy (Ed) Teper; his mother-in-law, Phyllis Pendry; his brothers-in-law, Roger Pendry and Travis (Sheri) Pendry; his sister-in-law, Rachel Dreger; and his nieces and nephews, Timmy, David, Jennifer, Gregory, Eddie, Jeffrey, Amy, Austin, Courtney, Kayla, Dakota, Lilly, Kelsey, and Justin. He is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews, along with many extended family members and dear friends.
Tom’s kindness, humor, loyalty, and love for his family will be remembered always. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched and in the memories shared by those who knew and loved him.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Drive, Rochester, Michigan 48307, beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m.
