Sis. Annie Ruth Boykins was a beautiful woman of faith. She served the ministries of the church and seniors in the community with love and kindness. It was an honor to be her Pastor for a season, and a close friend for her latter years. I will cherish the memories of sharing with her in fellowship. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and the Bethel Church family.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Annie Ruth was a kind and caring person. She was a great helper at the Central Pennsylvania African American Museum (CPAAM). I appreciated her so much. Annie was always willing to assist others in anyway she could. She assisted many organizations at Bethel AME Church. She is missed. May she Rest in Peace. Respectfully submitted by Mildred Gilyard 🌹🌹🌹

I'm so sorry for your loss. I will never forget the great choir rehearsals , and songs we rendered at Bethel AME Rdg. in the Combined Choir, and Annual Women's Day Choir. Sister Annie Ruth was always kind and attentive, and such a joy to fellowship with. She will be missed. πŸ™πŸ½πŸŒΉβœοΈβ€οΈ

Mrs. Annie Ruth was a very beautiful woman. I loved her dearly. In my mind’s eyes I see her walking proudly down South 9th St in Reading,Pa. Her house then was right above ours. Pearl and I were best childhood friends. Love you. Rest in Heaven. Deepest Sympathy & Condolences. Evelyn Lockhart Ferguson
