

She was predeceased by her husband, John I. Trudeau, son, Jay Trudeau, and siblings Conrad Scheg and Donald (Patricia) Scheg.
She is survived by her loving children: Colleen (Jeff) DePuy, Michelle (Franco) Carusone, Michael (Jen) Trudeau, Thomas (Deborah) Trudeau, Charles Trudeau, and Christine (Christopher) Mehrtash; as well as her beloved grandchildren: Elizabeth and Jack DePuy, Anthony and Michael Carusone, Alessandro (Allison) Carusone, Brennen and Cole Trudeau, Steven, Christian and Veronica Trudeau, Isabel Trudeau, and Cameron Mehrtash. She is also survived by her siblings, Thomas (Wendy) Scheg, Rita (William) Kramer, and Ruth Jackson; and she will be fondly remembered by all of her friends and neighbors of the 19th Ward.
Barbara was born on April 12, 1942 in Rochester, NY the daughter of the late Arthur and Gertrude Scheg. After many years as a devoted wife and mother, Barb worked at both St. Monica Church and the Rochester Presbyterian Home.
Barb was generous with her time and loved volunteering at school, church and the 19th Ward Community Association. She was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching golf in her free time. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Calling hours will be held at Alvah Halloran & Son Funeral Home, located at 2125 Chili Ave, Rochester, New York, 14624, on July 11, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Monica Church, 831 Genesee St., Rochester, NY, 14611, on July 12, 2025, at 10:00 am.
Barbara will be laid to rest in the Holy Ghost Cemetery, located on Coldwater Rd., Rochester.
