Bernard is survived by daughters, Laurie Ann and Kathy Heath, son, Gregory, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Bernard was a retiree from the Monroe County Water Authority, a past science teacher and Army veteran. He enjoyed playing softball, swimming and travelling. He was also active in his church. A celebration of his life will be held at 11AM on Sat. May 14th at 12 Corners Presbyterian Church, 1200 S Winton Rd in Brighton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
