Clifford J. “Killer” Kane of Gates, died Saturday, August 17, 2013 at age 76 after a brief illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Eleanor (Gajewski); children, Kathleen (Steven) Katerle, Clifford B. (Jill), Jeffrey (Toni), Robert of Lancing, TN, and Daniel (Vivian); grandchildren, Michael Katerle, Daniel J. (Kim) Kane, Jr., Katherine and Austen Kane, Trevor Kane, Mitchell and Ian Kane, Ethan, Ellie, and Emma Olson; brother, John Kane; and sisters, Jessie (Thomas) Brooks, Helen Daley, and Patricia Elschker. Cliff worked for the Monroe County Water Authority, retiring after 30 years of service.
No prior visitation. A funeral service will be held, Tuesday, 11am at the funeral home of ALVAH HALLORAN & SON, 2125 Chili Ave. Interment will be in Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Humane Society and Lollypop Farm or The Open Door Mission.
