I'm deeply saddened to learn of Don's passing. As a young intern with Sector 4 CDC in Rochester, Don and I worked together almost every day that summer. When my family came to visit, him and Gwendolyn opened their home and welcomed them like old friends. Don's impact on my journey cannot be overstated and just last week I thought of coming up to visit in Rochester. I'll miss you my man!

Rest in Peace Don.

Don was one of those people who never met a stranger. I felt like I had always known him the first time we were introduced. I'll miss his smile, his jokes, and his readiness to lend a hand no matter how big or small the need.

Rest in Peace, Don.

Thank You all for sharing such an awesome spirit with the rest of us. Mr. Hanks was funny, very funny. He was alway haapy and always had a story to tell. He knew everyone in the Southwest and worked hard to make it the best that it could be. He was generous and kind. I will never forget the story of why he does not eat Watermelon, LOL. He shared so much information with me and introduced me to so many people. I worked with him and Mr Demott many days at the SWNSC and also with him for Kiwanis. The work he put in will most definately pay off for him.
Thank You!
