Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bernadette M. (Scheg). Survived by 2 sons, Gerard (Lona) and Bernard (Theresa Greth-Statt); 8 daughters, Joanne Statt, Dolores (John) Dudinyak, Elaine Sullivan, Marilyn (Steven) Powell, Donna (Gary) Ehinger, Lorraine Statt, Rosemary (Michael) Hanscom and Christine (Daniel) Cregan; 18 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by 3 brothers, Raymond, John (Thelma), and Joseph (Bobbie); 3 sisters, Sister Alma, SSND, Jean (Francis) Troyan, and Jane (David) Richardson; and many nieces and nephews.
Edward was a life-long resident of the Rochester area. He loved to play board and card games. He also loved to tell stories of his life and experiences of the past.
Family and friends may call Friday, 4-7pm at the Funeral Home of ALVAH HALLORAN & SON, 2125 Chili Ave., where a Rosary Service will be held at 3pm prior to the visitation. Funeral Mass, Saturday, 10am at Holy Ghost Church, 220 Coldwater Road. Interment, Holy Ghost Cemetery.
