She was born on September 5, 1942 in Farrell, PA to the late Joseph and Mary Holiga. She grew up in Farrell and attended Farrell Senior High School, graduating in 1960. She would later move to Rochester, NY and began working for Eastman Kodak Co., where she met her future husband, Bill.
Betty loved animals, especially her furry grandbaby Pepper, and butterflies. She also had a sweet tooth and loved candy. Above all else, she loved her family and spending time with them. She will be greatly missed.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Mary Holiga; and brother-in-law, George “Mac” McConnell.
Elizabeth is survived by her son, William J. (Anna) Farmborough, Jr.; grandchildren: Annamarie (Jesse) Frank, Caitlyn Farmborough, and Kaylee Farmborough; great grandchildren: Donovyn, Jessiana, Aubriella, Kaidyn Frank; sisters: Rose McConnell and Margaret Caton; former husband, William Farmborough, Sr.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
