Evelyn M. Weed (Stone, Maurer) of North Rose and Rochester, passed away peacefully January 31, 2014, at age 94. Predeceased by her husband, Edward Weed, and son Donald K. Maurer Jr. Survived by sons, James (Nona) Maurer, Paul (Katherin) Maurer, stepson Allen Weed, stepdaughter Sally Weed (Leonard) Lopez; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews; and many friends.
Evelyn was born in Rochester, NY, on July 16, 1919. She and husband Ed spent many enjoyable years in North Rose, NY, and Orange City, FL. The family wishes to express their gratitude to all of the wonderful, loving caregivers at Latta Road Nursing Home.
A memorial service will be held at FARNSWORTH KEYSOR FUNERAL HOME, Main Street, North Rose, NY on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Rose Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Evelyn’s memory may be made to EISEP Program, Catholic Family Center, 87 N. Clinton Avenue, Rochester, NY 14604.
