Florence D. Fyke
January 16, 1927 – September 21, 2020
Florence Dollar (Belford) Fyke “Honey”, of North Chili, formerly of Lakeland, FL, went to be with the Lord on September 21, 2020 at the age of 93, with loving family by her side.
Predeceased by her husband of 72 years, Clair W. Fyke, parents: Wm Henry Belford, Sr., and Florence Dollar (Patten), siblings: John (Jack) Belford, Marguerite (Belford) Winch, Wm Belford, Jr., Sidney Belford, James Belford and son-in-law, Maha Atma Singh (Charles) Oesterly. Survived by her loving, grateful children: Clarisse Petrucci, Maha Atma Kaur (Carolyn) Oesterly, and Clair W. “Kip” (Teresa) Fyke: 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
Florence, a Kodak retiree, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who had a radiant smile. Her faith, family and friends were at the center of who she was. She and Clair were snowbirds for over 30 happy years spending time between Lighthouse Christian Camp in Barker, NY and Light & Life Park in Lakeland, FL. In the past 3 years since his passing, Florence adapted to her new life living in Penfield with Carolyn. She made many new friends at the Penfield Rec and YMCA. There, she enjoyed playing euchre and pinochle. She loved her game days and was known for her frequent winning streaks.
A private service was held at the convenience of the family.
