Rochester: Passed away on November 28, 2016, at the age of 81.

Predeceased by his first wife, Ruth Shaw; sister, Mary (Sister Anita) Roy; and sisters & brothers-in-law, Edith (Arthur) Amering, and Edna (Donald) Whitbeck. Survived by his beloved wife of over 30years, Pam Roy; sons: David Roy, Michael Roy, James (Wendy) Roy, Richard Roy, Thomas (Mary) Roy, and Fred (Sharon) Roy; stepdaughter, Kim (George) Kolupski; grandchildren: Jason, Aaron, Fredrick, Jacob, Nathan, Camden, Tyler, Bradley, Rebecca, & Ashley Roy, and Alexa & Conor Kolupski; a brother, Joseph (Noreen) Roy; as well as several nieces & nephews.

Fred was a retiree of Eastman Kodak, working in Industrial Relations.

It was Fred’s request that there be no calling hours. Interment will take place in Falls Cemetery at a later date. A special thank you goes out to Jessica & Tracey, and all of the caring people at Journey Home.

A donation may be made to Journey Home, 994 Long Pond Rd., Rochester, NY 14626, in Fred’s memory.

I will always remember my brother-in-law Fred as a wonderful father and devoted husband to my husbands youngest sister Ruthie. I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to all my nephews and their families. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

My father's youngest sister Ruthie was married to Fred and raised 6 wonderful boys with him. He was a devoted husband and father to them. This is the way that I will always remember Fred. We extend our deepest sympathy to all of the extended family. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all.

I worked for Fred in HR in Bldg 12 for about a year. He was the nicest and fun loving boss anyone could hope for. A really good guy. My sympathy is extended to his family.
