His legacy of gentle kindness will be left to his wife of 48 years, Patricia Lynch-Grover, daughter Michelle (John), brother Leo (Judy) Grover, brothers-in-law Bernie (Jane) Lynch, and Joe (Bev) Lynch, Uncle Dick Sousa, and Aunt Winnie Delehanty. He was predeceased by his sister, Nancy.
Gary will be missed by many special cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and a great-great nephew, as well as by special Godchildren (Bonnie Gargano and Nick Lynch), his long-time friends (the Edwards and the Gundrum’s), Paula Mary, his Press-Radio Club friends, and his diner friends.
A parishioner at St. Pius the Tenth for 38 years, Gary spent four-years serving in the Air Force, and 37 years working at Rochester Products. He was an ace euchre player and enjoyed bowling.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Pius the Tenth Church, located at 3010 Chili Ave., Rochester, NY, 14624, on Saturday, January 10, 2026, starting at 10:00 am. Interment will be private at a later date.
