Geraldine "Geri" Cornell passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 at Strong Memorial Hospital at age 73. Geri was born in Buffalo to John and Josephine Lachut. She graduated from Brockport State College and later worked at Heritage Christian Homes until her retirement. She was an active member of Glory to Glory Christian Church, where, as a passionate gardener, she tended to the church gardens. She also enjoyed reading and crocheting. Geri is survived by her children; Jeff (Christina) Cornell, Michelle (Steven) Young, Jennifer (Joseph) Southworth, and Benton Cornell; 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday, March 31st, 3-5pm and Thursday April 1st, 10-11am at Glory to Glory Christian Fellowship, 640 Brooks Ave., immediately followed by a memorial service at 11am on Thursday.
