

Jim graduated from, Nunda Central School in NY. He served on a destroyer in the North Pacific, the USS John Hood during WWII. He graduated from the Univ. of the State of NY in Drafting and Machine Design and also studied and was licensed in Aircraft and Engine Mechanics at the Gulf Airmotive School in Bradenton, FL. He worked 20 years at American Laundry as a Production Engineer in Rochester, NY and 20+ years as a Manufacturing Engineer at Stromberg Carlson/Siemens in Rochester, NY and Sanford, FL.
Jim & Ellie have been members of the Nazarene Church since 1950, most recently attending the Apopka, FL and New Holland, PA Churches of the Nazarene. His passion in life was his love for his Lord and for his family.
Jim was predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years, Ellie (Mabee) Schneck. Survived by his children: Bonnie (Dan) Murphy, Duxbury, MA, Jim (Felicity) Schneck, Springhill, FL, Laurie (Steve) Chambers, Strasburg, PA; 5 grandchildren and 5 1/2 great grandchildren.
