Janet B. Schonblom

Penfield, NY; Age 93. Died peacefully at home on Saturday, October 4, 2014, surrounded by her adoring family that she loved and cherished.

Born December 5,1920 in East Aurora, NY to James H. and Mildred M. Baker. Predeceased by husband, Kenneth W. Schonblom, siblings, Elizabeth Bellinger, Eleanor Wokasien, James, Raymond, Donald, and Roger Baker. Survived by her children Marsha (Dennis) Kiriazides and Richard (Carol) Schonblom; grandchildren Alexandra (Christopher) Collison, John (Emily) Kiriazides, Jason (Catherine) Kiriazides, and Anna Schonblom; great grandchildren Joseph, Jenna and Lauren Collison, Ella Vanhulle, Noah and Wesley Kiriazides; sisters-in-law, Nancy Baker and Mary Wittmeyer, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Janet loved taking care of her family, flower gardening, baking pies, carmel brownies, and orange rolls, and being a friend and support to many. Janet was a devout parishioner of the Baker Memorial United Methodist Church in East Aurora and later the Penfield United Methodist Church. A memorial service celebrating Janet's life will be held at Penfield United Methodist Church on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 2:00PM. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in East Aurora at the convenience of the family.
