John did amazing things with his life. John’s traits shone through his actions. He was a leader, a track star, a WWII veteran, a professor, an author, and don’t forget an All-American. Uncle John was very special. He always had a gentle smile and a kind word. I remember when Aunt Angie and and Uncle John came to Montreal on their boat and I met them with Luisa and Sarah at the docks. The girls were little then and loved the idea of being on the boat, even though it did not go anywhere. It was a special day. With heartfelt condolences, Ada

John was a bright smile in any room at any occasion. He had a positive attitude about everything he did and treated people with kindness. What a wonderful father, husband and friend. My condolences to the Parker family . Sending lots of love.
